The National Evaluation Series™ Chemistry test (NT321) has been adopted by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This National Evaluation Series test can be taken as an alternative to the MTEL Chemistry test (67) in order to fulfill licensure requirements.
Online proctoring is available for this assessment. You may test remotely, including from home. Is online proctoring right for me? Read more about online proctoring, including important policies and requirements.
Tests may include test questions that are being evaluated for future administrations and that do not affect a candidate's score.
When taking this test in an online-proctored appointment, examinees will receive a 15-minute break after the Subarea I–III MCQs and before the Subarea IV–V MCQs. Note that after this break you will begin the MCQs for Subareas IV–V, and you will no longer have access to the MCQs for Subareas I–III.
