Effective with the September 2009 test administration, the Communication and Literacy Skills test will be updated. The Test will continue to consist of two subtests: the reading subtest and the writing subtest; however, the test objectives have been revised and the structure of the subtests has changed.

The new Communication and Literacy Skills test objectives are available by selecting "Test Objectives". A new Communication and Literacy Skills practice test will be available on the MTEL web site as of July 2009.
