Paper-Based TestingTest Dates
Computer-based testing is available year-round, by appointment, Monday through Saturday (excluding some holidays).
Registration for CBT is available only on the Internet by selecting "Register Now" on the MTEL web site. You should try to register as early as possible before your desired test date.

Please note seat availability information is subject to change. Due to the amount of time required to process a registration, you may not be able to schedule an appointment to test if you register within three calendar days of the day on which you plan to test.
You must wait 60 days after taking a computer-based test/subtest before retaking the same test/subtest.
Score reporting. Test results for all tests except English (07) and History (06) are reported within five weeks of the date on which you took the test. Test results for the English (07) and History (06) tests are reported six times per year. Refer to "Score Reporting" on the MTEL web site for a schedule of score report dates.
