MTEL Passing Status Determination for
Connecticut Foundations of Reading Test Candidates
Candidates who have taken and passed the Connecticut Foundations of Reading test may request to have their test results evaluated against the qualifying score for the MTEL to determine their passing status on the MTEL. To request this service, complete the MTEL Passing Status Determination for Connecticut Foundations of Reading Test Candidates form, enclose the $10 fee, and submit the form and fee to the address on the form.
Please allow six to eight weeks from receipt of your form for processing your request for this service. You will receive a letter indicating your passing status for the MTEL. If you meet the Massachusetts qualifying score, your passing status will also be reported to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with the next regularly scheduled score report date for the MTEL program.
