The MTEL are conducted in morning and afternoon test sessions.
Each test session is four hours in length and candidates
may take only one test per session. The morning session
has a reporting time of 7:45 a.m. and ends at approximately
12:30 p.m. The afternoon session has a reporting time
of 1:15 p.m. and ends at approximately 6:00 p.m.
You may register for one or two tests on each test date.
If you are taking the Communication and Literacy Skills test, the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test, or the
General Curriculum test,
you may take one subtest or both subtests in one test session.
