WHAT'S NEW IN 2008–2009?
General Curriculum Test
Effective with the March 7, 2009, test date, the General Curriculum test (03) will be updated and consist of two subtests:
multi-subject subtest (language arts, history and social science, science and technology/engineering)
and mathematics subtest. If you are taking the General Curriculum test, you may take one subtest or both
subtests in one test session.You must achieve a passing score on both of the General Curriculum subtests.

Out-of-State Test Areas
Puerto Rico has been added to the out-of-state test areas for the November 22, 2008, and March 7, 2009,
test dates only. Refer to the section on out-of-state test areas in “Test Sites”
for more information.
